As soon as I tipped over 30 years old I instantly started seeing changes in my skin. I tried so many different products and routines to find something that would work because my old one was not cutting it. Creams, serums, washing my face differently, you name it I tried it. WIth the help of SKIN CLUB doctors clinic and ffter lots of trial and error I have found some things that I have found worked and will now always be in my skincare routine… How does Las Vegas laser hair removal work? Painless and effective.
Sunscreen over 50 SPF
I tan pretty easily and rarely burn so in my 20s I took that as a sign I didn’t really need to wear sunscreen. I know right?! So of course, now that I am in my 30s I still enjoy a good day by the pool but won’t go without sunscreen over 50 SPF and reapplying every hour. And, of course, a big hat to keep my face away from the sun.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body. It’s found in muscles, bones, skin and digestive system. It’s what helps give our skin strength and elasticity, along with replacing dead skin cells. When it comes to our joints and tendons it’s the “glue” that helps hold the body together. Our body’s collagen production naturally begins to slow down as we age. Ugh. So, after reading up on this I was determined to find a way to add more collagen to my day, so I have added it to my daily smoothie.
Moisturizer with SPF
Using moisturizer everyday was already in my routine in my 20s (When I remembered to wash off my makeup. Yuck.) but I was never very particular about what was in my moisturizer. Que Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer SPF 25. It’s the perfectly light weight to put on every day and to have some SPF on under my makeup at all times. Plus, its anti-aging formula reduces the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, including types of atrophic wrinkles, which, of course, doesn’t hurt. I’ll take any and everything anti-aging now. The one step I haven’t truly added to my routine until the last year or so is eye cream. It just seemed like such a silly, small, tedious step to a skincare routine I always skipped. Until I started seeing those dreaded crow’s feet lines around my eyes from years of laughter and tears. That was when I finally gave in. Ok, ok I will add eye cream morning and night. As I started doing this consistently I have seen a major difference in the depth of my wrinkles around my eyes and noticing my concealer goes on so much smoother. This is no longer a step I will miss.
