Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana – A couple weeks ago J and I got to travel to beautiful Punta Cana and stay at the Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana. Our room was in The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium section of the resort. Sounds a bit confusing so let me explain. This resort is huge and all inclusive so there is tons of exploring to be done. Our section of the resort was the luxury rooms and lobby. Think gorgeous air conditioned lobby, staying in the room with a view of one of the three pools and the beach a step away. Yeah. It was that good.
J and I took this opportunity to use the trip as our second honeymoon because the Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana knows how to do romance and is a top destination in the Caribbean for weddings. So we made sure to order lots of room service, set up many dinner dates through our butler (ohhh la la) and of course a couples massage.
The resort itself, as I said, is huge so there was lots of exploring to be done but the staff was always friendly, even when J and I attempted to speak the basic Spanish we knew.
Play/Sips & Bites
Like I said above there is SO much to do at the Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana so I am going to save it all for another post (coming very soon)! Trust me you will not want to miss that one.
Even though we went in September and you would think fall …it was hot! Think like 90s hot. So when I packed I tried to make sure I had lots of bathing suits (you will live in them all day) and then light dresses and shorts for the evening. Overall the resort is casual and there is no need to bring heels (if you do just wedges) because there is a lot of walking around. Lastly, sunscreen and lots of it. There is of course some you can purchase at the resort but just to give you an example: J and I went through a bottle each within the first 2 days. Shop some of the items I packed below.
