A Lacey Perspective: Holiday Sparkle

No matter where the holiday party is, or who is hosting it, you will always find me doing red lips, red nails, sequins and an up-do. There is nothing more classic than adding pops of red to your holiday look.

To make this ensemble office holiday party appropriate I added a simple black sweater, festive scarf and gold pumps to make the look more conservative. Speaking of the simple sweater, I have said it once and I will say it again… Target has been killing it lately. I bought this sweater (which is also long enough to toss over leggings) in 3 different colors and have been living in them as winter has been inching its way into DC.

With one month exactly until Christmas (I guess I should start shopping for gifts), there are many holiday parties in our future. What is your holiday party go-to look?

Lovely look! And the sweater, how is the sleeve length? full to the wrist or supposed to be 3/4?

I just have the sleeves pushed up. They are full length. Click on the link in the post to see other colors and the full length of the sweater.

Love the outfit without the scarf. But I’m always partial to a statement necklace. Great choices! Love your hair pulled up like that!

I’m so glad you found the blog! I linked to the skirt in a couple different colors in the post. I definitely suggest going up a size or two bc it runs very small.
