A Lacey Perspective: Quilted Leather

This post is debuting several things I have been itching to share.

1. This quilted leather skirt has been sitting in my closet for weeks and, since the heat wave finally broke, it was the first piece I reached for. This must-have is going to a get a lot of wear in the fall/winter and it’s lightweight feel makes it easy to wear now as summer is coming to an end.
2. I have been dying to give the colored sunnies trend a shot and I was stoked when Bonlook challenged me to style a red pair.
3. I am SO glad that Style Me Pretty finally shared my wedding photos so I can now wear my wedding shoes in an outfit post. Be ready to see these beauties often!

xoxo
Lacey :)

I thought the same thing when I purchased the skirt. But the material has so much give to it and is very light weight. Much easier to move in (all day at work) than my other leather skirts.

I don’t think you need to wait until fall! Toss on a tank or easy tee and you should be all set! I was comfortable all day in this skirt (at work and HH).

Lacey, you look so chic! I love the outfit. I love how you’ve mixed affordable with high end fashion. I might have to get this skirt and see if I can wear it to work as well!

I love the quilted skirt with the shoes, very chic, this style is right up my alley. I think I will have to buy the skirt. PS- I am also from TX now in DC…great to see TX transplants in the Beltway :-)

I typically size up for anything ASOS. I typically wear a size 4 and this skirt is a 6. It has a stretch to it and isn’t too heavy. So I wouldn’t go more then 1 size up.

I saw those shoes and thought, “Are those the Valentino pumps I’m in love with?” Why, yes, they are. If I got married today, those would be top contenders for my wedding shoe. Awesome choice! (And good for you for wearing them out and about!)
