Watching me pack and not liking it.

On our way to NoLa from Houston. I love road trips.

Toes on the dashboard and a clear sky.

Lots of goodies for the bachelorette to wear.

Dressing up and making new friends before the night out on Bourbon Street.

Heading back to Texas – exhausted and ready for some Texas BBQ.

Giving a messy milkmaid braid look a shot for the flight home. For my first time I was pretty impressed with myself. Expect to see more of this look this summer – it is the perfect updo to get your hair off your neck in a flash.

I had an absolutely fabulous time seeing family and friends in Texas and road tripping to New Orleans for a short trip. The vacation was fantastic, and so needed, but I am also glad to be back. There is nothing better then sleeping in your bed for the first time after a long trip.

Lastly, a big thank you to the always lovely Alison, Sarah, Devon and Tammy for blog-sitting for me this past week. They are true inspirations to me and I hope you all loved them as much as I do.

XOXO
Lacey :)

I have yet to perfect the milkmaid braid. Every time I do it I look like a German Olympian named Helga.
