A Lacey Perspective: Seminole Style - Tie It Up

I have seen this whole tie-your-jacket-around-your-waist trend pop up everywhere. Besides the fact that it is oh-so 90s, I was hesitant this look would not compliment my hourglass shape and enhance my curvy hips. But after seeing some Pin-spiration I realized it is all about where you tie your jacket. Think of this as a new way to give some of your old looks new life (or take some of your new looks back to old?).

Make sure to tie the jacket just above your hips as to accentuate the smaller part of your waist. It took me a couple tries to find the right spot for me (not too high up like a high-waisted belt), but don’t give up on it. I promise it will be your next ah-ha moment! I cannot wait to give this a try with some more girly dresses and see what this 90s look can really do!

Cute look. I like the washed/faded look of the pant. I’m not a fan of white shoes but this seem to work with the ensemble. I can seem the same pieces working with a sneaker for a casual sporty look.
