Skinny Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe(Recipe card below.)

Getting me to eat a salad takes work, which can make it harder to eat healthy. So I’ve learned to mimic my favorite Sweetgreen recipe to create an at-home lunch that’s both simple and satisfying.

I combine mixed greens, roasted chicken, shredded carrots, diced onions, a chopped hardboiled egg and my go-to dressing, Skinny Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette. This dressing is so darn simple to make and low in calories too!

Skinny Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette

There are two ways you can make this dressing:

  1. Combine the ingredients in a bowl, whisk it all together, and store in a sealed container.
  2. But the way I prefer is combining the ingredients in a mason jar, shake and voila! Less mess!

Skinny Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette


  • Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper


1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/3 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
2 Tablespoon Honey
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Shake all in mason jar.
