A Lacey Perspective: Plaid

After three weeks of straight travel and landing in DC with cooler weather I quickly realized fall has arrived while I was gone.

Plaid always being my fall go-to, I quickly headed to Target to grab a couple plaid items (due to my laziness of not wanting to unpack my winter clothes). This pink/blue colored plaid instantly caught my eye. It was the perfect coloring to transition my fall items into rotation. Pairing it with a current fall trends of fringe and colored leather this look quickly came together.

My second look shocked me how much I loved it. Not typically one for a more grungier look I hesitated grabbing this dress and taking it home. I knew I wanted to mix two plaids but that was about it. When I put it all on it instantly came together! Lesson learned: Don’t be afraid to mix plaids!
