Ready. Set. DC.

Liz and I were interviewed by ReadySetDC about our baby, CapFABB, and our individual blogs. Definitely a good, and funny, read if you have a moment. I am so lucky to have Liz in my life. To go from someone who I didn’t know at all a year ago to one of my best friends and co-founder of what was just a humble idea is an absolutely amazing thing. I have learned so much from her and look forward to years more of friendship and CapFABB-ing to come.

“It really first started as bloggers, but bloggers aren’t normally just bloggers. And I think that’s what has really made the community grow, is that people are realizing that it’s more than just writing some ideas and putting shoes that we like online …it’s become so much more.”

“We had a large group of D.C. bloggers go to New York Fashion Week recently, and they said they were walking around in this vintage and color from head to toe – and people were asking ‘Where are you guys from?’ and they said D.C. – and there was shock. I think that it’s slowly starting to be recognized.”

“…it is like an old married couple at this point.” (I still laugh at this one.)
