A Lacey Perspective: Sporty Spice

This will be the closest you will see me get to the pajama trend or the wedge sneaker trend. All day I kept telling people “I feel very Sporty Spice” and they would just smile and nod at me in confusion (Am I the only one who finds this reference amusing? I even started singing Spice Girls songs!). I will not lie to you, this IS a very comfortable look but I still think this is as close as you can get me to wedge sneakers or PJs in public.

Would you rock either of these trends I won’t? If so, what converted you?

You’re one of the few people I can think of who can pull of this look…those shoes are killer!

I am not a fan of the wedge sneaker trend (for myself), though I can appreciate how they look on other people. These shoes, on the other hand, are amazing! And the high stiletto helps balance out the sporty-ness of the style, which I love! I think you are totally rocking this look :)

I can’t help but laugh, those pants totally remind me of a windsuit (remember those?) I had in the third grade. I’m way to tame to try most out there trends.

I think this looks more like a Samantha from Sex and the City versus Sporty Spice. The colors are great on you!

Oh why???… you should wear it more…. you look amazing in this pants and wedges!!!
See you in my blog, maybe.

Love those heels! They remind me of a pair of Rag & Bone sandals that have that sporty chic feel. Great outfit! :)

As far as the pajama dressing trend, I think it looks so chic when the pieces are tailored and slim-cut — the matching top & bottom look really works for me — but I’m still on the fence with the wedges!

Those shoes are EVERYTHING! Love this look!

Sporty pants with stilettos is fun and you look great in the combination! We understand avoiding these trends, but let’s hear it for a short spree of comfort in fashion!!

Can we just talk about those amazing shoes?! LOVE. Looking great, those pants are NOT easy to pull off and you make it look effortless!

Those shoes. Gahhh. They’re perfect. I’d wear sporty shoes before I’d wear sporty pants — but I love these on you!

I agree this is a great look. Very cool and relaxed, perfect for spring.

I just bought a pair of red wedges and i love them. they add height if you’re a shorter gal like me and they’re a bit dressier than a normal pair of sneakers so you dont look like ur going to the the gym. They look great with jeans and a tee or denim jacket.
Btw, I dislike many things before trying them on and afterwards really love’em. ;)

Some genuinely nice stuff on this web site, I like it.
